Protuliocnemis Holloway, 1996 species known from India.
Protuliocnemis biplagiata biplagiata (Moore, [1887]) (Comibaena). India: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu (KMTR); Sri Lanka.
Protuliocnemis castalaria (Oberthur, 1916) (Phorodesma). India: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Meghalaya (Khasi Hills); Nepal.
Protuliocnemis partita (Walker, 1861) (Comibaena). India: Assam, Kerala, Karnataka.

Protuliocnemis castalaria Oberthür, 1916 has been reported from Nepal, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. Protuliocnemis castalaria is similar in fascia to biplagiata, and can be separated by the presence of fours spurs on the hind tibia of biplagiata and two spurs in castalaria (MOB).
Vide Seitz, P. biplagiata has hindwing with postmedian slender and slightly incurved between the 3rd radial and 2nd median (in castalaria thick and quite straight), apical spot of hindwing brighter, predominently reddish-range.
