SS identified this species as hypsalis in the Moths of Tale paper. But the very similar flaviventer description states its legs, black and white. Head and thorax ocherous and abdomen yellow, implying differently coloured thorax and abdomen, which is not so in the Tale individual. FW chequered in flaviventer; glossy cinereous (ashy-grey) in hypsalis.
