Diagnosis (based on MOB). This is a small pinkish fawn species like many of those just described, but the male has a shallow fold at the centre of the forewing costa, with a tuft of scales over the discal spot in the upperside and lateral grey edging to the fold in the underside. The rather uniformly pinkish females have the hindwing discal spot rather lenticular, and the black streak on the postmedials on M2 is not particularly broad.
Note: The hair pencil on the FW of the male is quite distinct, in separating it from other congeners.
