Taxonomic Information

Pangrapta Hübner, 1818 species known from the Indian subcontinent.
Pangrapta albistigma (Hampson, 1898). India: Sikkim, Meghalaya (Khasi Hills: TL); Nepal. 
Pangrapta cinerea (Butler, 1889). India: Himachal Pradesh (Dharamsala: TL). 
Pangrapta ferrugineiceps (Hampson, 1896). Bhutan (TL). 
Pangrapta grisangula (Hampson, 1891). India: Nilgiris (TL). Probably a synonym of Pangrapta shivula (Guenée, 1852).
Pangrapta molybdina Hampson, 1926. India: Meghalaya.
Pangrapta pannosa (Moore, 1882). India: NE Himalaya, West Bengal (Darjeeling), Meghalaya (Cherrapunji), Arunachal Pradesh; Nepal. 
Pangrapta perturbans (Walker, 1858). Bangladesh. 
Pangrapta shivula (Guenée, 1852). India: “Nilgiris”, Maharashtra; Bangladesh (Sylhet). Indo-Australian tropics. 
Pangrapta sublineata Holloway, 2005. NE Himalaya. 
Pangrapta talusalis (Walker, [1859]). India. 
Pangrapta transducta Hampson, 1926. Myanmar. 
Pangrapta trimantesalis (Walker, [1859]). Nepal; Bangladesh; NE Himalaya. 
Pangrapta vaga (Walker, 1865). India: Himachal Pradesh (Dharamsala), West Bengal (Darjeeling); Bhutan; Bangladesh (Sylhet: TL). 

Provisionally identified as Pangrapta shivula (Guenée, 1852). Pangrapta grisangula (Hampson, 1891) is probably a synonym of Pangrapta shivula (Guenée, 1852).
