Taxonomic Information

Omphisa Moore, [1886] species known from India (Singh et al 2022).
Omphisa anastomosalis (Guenée, 1854). India; Si Lanka; Myanmar. 
Omphisa fuscidentalis (Hampson, [1896]). India: Sikkim, Kerala; Nepal. 
Omphisa illisalis (Walker, 1859). India: N. India, Assam, Meghalaya, S. Andamans; Sri Lanka. 
Omphisa repetitalis Snellen, 1890.  India: Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Kerala; Nepal. 

Photo Gallery and Species Biology

Differs from O. anastomosalis by having fuscous marks on cilia of both wings at 3 and 4, HW cilia black from apex to v.4 and HW with apical black patch from apex to v.4. Another feature that helps separate Omphisa repetitalis from Omphisa anastomosalis is that the postmedial line is double and crenulate in repetitalis, while in anastomosalis the postmedial forms an inverted triangle near costa.
