Taxonomic Information
This is a species complex consisting of possibly 3 species. Ecpyrrhorrhoe damastesalis (Walker, 1859), Ecpyrrhorrhoe rufipicta (Butler, 1880) and Ecpyrrhorrhoe machoeralis (Walker, 1859). All of them are known to skeletonise Tectona grandis leaves. Genitalia and/or barcoding needed to separate species with certainty. This page shows a gallery of Ecpyrrhorrhoe spp. If these individuals are identified to the species level in the future, they will be moved to species pages. We would welcome feedback from experts who are able to provide an insight into species identities. Comments and feedback on the page or specific images can be provided by using the link at the bottom of the page and by quoting the specific media code provided in the image.
