Notes: The only species known from S. India is Padenia transversa (Walker, 1854). Padenia duplicana (Walker, 1863) and Padenia acutifascia de Joannis, 1928 have been recorded from NE India, while Padenia obliquifascia Rothschild, 1920 is known from Andaman & Nicobar Is. Hind wing assists in separating Padenia duplicana (Walker, 1863) and Padenia acutifascia de Joannis, 1928.
