Other Notes
Other species of Timandromorpha Inoue, 1944 are Timandromorpha enervata Inoue, Timandromorpha energes (Prout), and Timandromorpha olivaria Han & Xue are all extralimital. It closely resembles T. energes (Prout) from which it can be separated based on the key from Han & Xue (2012).
Timandromorpha discolor: Yellowish white spots on fore wing just extending to CU1, seldom beyond CU1, and never beyond middle of CU1and M3. Hind wing narrow, ratio of longitudinal distance from apex to hind margin to length of hind margin 0.7 or more.
Timandromorpha energes: Yellowish white spots on fore wing always extending to M3 or beyond, at least reaching above the middle of CU1 and M3. Hind wing narrow, ratio of longitudinal distance from apex to hind margin to length of hind margin 0.6.
