Similiar species:
Both C. turgescens and C. pyrrhogona have pale blue-green wings with marginal red beading. At the forewing tornus this is narrow with a slight cornute extension in Bornean pyrrhogona but conspicuously broadened in C. turgescens Prout. (Vide Moths of Borneo). These species are best separated by examining male genitalia.
