Volynkin, A.V., Huang, S.Y. & Ivanova, M.S., 2019. An overview of genera and subgenera of the Asura/Miltochrista generic complex (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Arctiinae). Part 1. Barsine Walker, 1854 sensu lato, Asura Walker, 1854 and related genera, with descriptions of twenty new genera, ten new subgenera and a check list of taxa of the Asura/Miltochrista generic complex. Ecologica Montenegrina, 26, pp.14-92.
Note: Vide Volynkin et al. 2019, a number of groups of species considered previously by various authors as members of Asura and Miltochrista Hübner, [1819] were erected to 20 new genera and four subgenera. On this page, the similar-looking generic groups found in the Indian subregion, such as Aberrasine Volynkin & Huang, 2019, Argentosine Volynkin, 2019, Asura Walker, 1854, Barsura Volynkin, Dubatolov & Kishida, 2017, Barsaurea Volynkin & Huang, 2019, Hampsonascia Volynkin, 2019, Miltochrista Hübner, [1819], Ovipennis Hampson, 1900, Pseudobarsine Singh & Kirti, 2016 are currently "dumped" in the Asura-Miltochrista-group spp., till they can be separated into specific genera or species.
