Planovalvata confusa -
Similiar species: Stigmatophora roseivena (Hampson, 1894)
Separating Stigmatophora roseivena and Planovalvata confusa.
The HW of confusa is yellow, while the HW of Stigmatophora roseivena is pink. The differences in pattern between that can be seen from the images are as under (in addition to differences mentioned by Volynkin, 2018): FW, 2nd pale yellow streak on FW is entire in Stigmatophora roseivena but broken in two parts in Planovalvata confusa. 4th & 5th yellow streaks on FW are smaller and overlapping at the ends of the steaks in Planovalvata confusa. In Stigmatophora roseivena, the 4th & 5th yellow streaks on FW are broader, entire and almost equal in length.
